Yea I think its bs. Too many people have a ton of them and selling at the same time. People are either buying gold from sites with real money (which I doubt), titan gemstones drop like glittering dust (the other gemstones are quite worthless), or a huge exploit/dupe hack exists that some people know about. Either way, WTB armbrace 10k

hypothetically, lets say one person ebayed enough gold for 1750 armbraces.

1 armbrace = ~70 ectos
1 ecto = ~4.5k

so that equals out to around 315k/armbrace

1750 x 315k = 551,250,000 platinum

and according to your gold site info

1 million plat = $100

that would be $55,125 that someone spent on gw gold. WTF

Apparently this has been going on for a month. If so I don't see how they could re-roll. I think targeted bans are more likely.

Max I suggest you post that & the name of the person to anet's support people.

Then they can take action & perhaps even watch the trading in doa & start banning accounts.

Like someone else said before, I would like to see a response from anet on this too....even if only to acknowledge this thread......

i totally agree, something is very wrong, ambraces where jumping about inter dis 1, like they had been falling out of the sky!!!(know its dragon festival, but don't think they was dropping ambraces )
anyway i took a few screen shots and will post them along with this(they have been edited to protect players, but if someone from a/net wants the originals i will be happy to pass them along), as this DEFINITELY needs to be sorted, before game is totally ruined

I would hope there isn't a rollback or anything.. I am not a rich player by far, but I have made alot of money off the Fesitval( ) I have seen people talk about this, and a guildmate mentioned it. There is deffinatly not something right with that..

That's a lot to roll back. Two lots of Dragon Festival for a start. They'd have to have ANOTHER one so everyon could get their Demon masks again . However for the moment, I think I'll steer clear of trading with armbraces, I don't wanna be near anybody trading with them if ANet start tracing the source.

200-300 is possible. Seen people on here selling 80-90 of them.

i dont think theres a possibility for a rollback, this didnt pop up last night and a rollback more than a day is gonna make people redo sooo much stuff and might not even take care of the problem

Concur, ANet will have to do something about this.

Shame that it apparently happened right in the middle of a special event weekend.

Last rollback that I can recall occurred when they accidentally reset the traders down to minimum values. That was about a year and a half ago.

Not sure they will rollback, it's been going on too long and only really affects DoA items. Quickest fix would be to make armbraces non tradable to players..

Depend on their means of getting the ambraces, do they get multiple ambraces, or multiple gems to get the ambraces? And would this mean torment weapons are untradable too? Or the gems... Whatever the case they clearly didn't genuinely get them... even if all you did was DoA, and didn't sleep, you'd not get this many. >_>
